On the road in Saigon

I've been travelling around Saigon with Alex on his Vespa while Wanjing and Gerard took a taxi. Finally found a place where I can get decent wireless network to blog =) Well, the traffic is not as scary as it seems. Just have to get used to it. In fact, riding a bike in Saigon is safer than riding a bike back in SGP.

Jap

Today's filled with Jap food =) I had Jap food at Wasabi Tei for lunch, Jap buffet at Hanabi for dinner and Jap desert at Azabu Sabo.

And in my study room I saw a beetle in distress...

I rescued it!

I was really boreddddd

choc muffin at 230am

I went to delifrance to grab a baguette to go with my mom's home cooked curry. The chocolate muffins in the bakery looked so delicious and i knew i had to buy one. hehe... I intended to keep it for breakfast but everytime i walked into the kitchen i would see the muffin and it looked so irresistable. And I ate it. At 230a.m. so delicious.. so sinful

I couldn't get to sleep so i decided to blog. I watched Dance of the Dragon on Thu and Taxidermia on Fri. The first movie was really slow... And it feels pretty amateurish. Like some school production. Taxidermia is weird. The story is about 3 generations of this dysfunctional family. Its really weird. hmmm....

I had some time to kill after Taxidermia and met a JC friend. We had coffee in spinnelli. How time flies. We were only 17/18 in JC. Six yrs! I had Thai food that night, headed to Robertson Quay for wine & port, supper at a HK cafe and stayed over at Pan Pac.

Gym on a sat afternoon was tiring. But I must persevere because I'm on this ongoing attempt to kill Alvina. That night, I went out for dinner with my friends. Some chicken penyat dish at lucky plaza. I've been reading the Travelling Hungryboy's blog http://www.eatbma.blogspot.com/ and trying out the food he recommend =) Then some clubbing again and supper at Boon Tiong Kee in Balestier.

Another gym session on a Sunday afternoon then dinner at Ichibantei at Robertson Quay and more wine. And more clubbing. Hmmm eating n drinking quite alot. Pretty unhealthy lifestyle.

Counting my blessings

I went for a checkup in Paragon Medical this afternoon and realized Alvina has grown heavier. Alvina is at least 4kg in weight now. Indeed, she would be due for delivery soon =(

And thereafter I went for an X ray at Orchard Building. Its the same clinic which I took the x ray for my SIA pre-employment checkup. I hope the radiation would kill Alvina evntually.

I took a stroll from sommerset via killeney to clarke quay and had dinner with K in this much acclaimed ramen restaurant (#02-76, Central) from Hokkaido. It is famous for the Tokusen Toroniku ramen. Probably the best ramen I've tasted.

I feel so loved by all my friends. Thanks everyone for planning the birthday dinners and present.

It was my first time at M and it was really fun... The music that night was fantastic. For once it felt like part of the crowds had migrated from P to M...M has got really nice bourbon coke. other club's bourbon r like trash. I've a paper this coming sat so no more blogging study study study..... I saw some pretty girls at M too
