Gay, Sex, Dinner

It was an enjoyable dinner. The gathering of JC classmates. We had so much jokes and laughter over dinner at Vila'ge (pronounced Vi-Large without the 'r' sound). Not village or worst, Vi-Lah-Jay.

Besides updates on each person's life and our latest fling etc... the two main topics over dinner revolved around the theme of gay and sex. I wonder why these issues are so hot nowadays.

We were wondering why are there SO MANY gays in NUS arts, The gay undergrads, gay lecturers etc... Gaydars (Gay radar), gay celebrities, gay dress sense, gay icons and the list goes on. And that handsome guys are either taken or gay. What's going to happen to the girls?

We were also discussing whether our GP tutor is a lesbian because she exudes the lesbo vibes. One of us would probably email her to clarify.

Our focus shifted to Ben Goh. According to other classmates, he seems to attract guys and exude certain gay vibes as well... He said "When I see a hole, I just wag".

He didnt specify whether it's a vagina or anus. Hmmmm... All these small little details in his speech...

Boxing Day 2006

My alarm clock rang at 8:45a.m. Suppose to go cycling this morning but it was raining non-stop since last night hence this plan was scrapped.

Had a lunch appointment with my army friends at 11a.m. but i Only reached cityhall at 12:30p.m. I told them "something cropped up at home" but in fact i was lazy and slept till 11a.m. haha... After lunch we head to Vivocity for coffee and pastry at Corduroy. Love that place. Nice pastry, nice coffee, nice decor and nice crowds =)

We went for "A night at the Museum" after Corduroy. Met Andy and Sharene after the movie and got a really cute souvenir magnet from their Europe trip. And guess what, they will be tying the knot soon. Their wedding would be the first one among all my friends =) Feel so happy for them.

Kes brought me along to Gary's house party this evening. The theme was "Rudolf Caught Red Handed", and it requires guests to be in red. Since I've no red t-shirt, I bought one from Fox at Vivocity. It's only $7. So cheap.. However, It's a muscle tee which looks horrible on me cos I'm so flabby. But it's only $7!! so just buy for the party and I can wear it at home thereafter =)

The Party was good, there're 3 friendly big dogs in the house, a choir that sang christmas carols, lots of home-cooked food and alcohol. There were guests that dressed up in star wars suit, each suit cost $2ooo omg.... And Gary was really sweet, he baked a ginger breadman for every guests.

The 4 Noble Truths

I received a flower hhahaha and this gift reminded me of a statement which a person used to say "nothing is permanent and that a person should not be too attached to anything he owns."

He lives by this................. I don't want to say anything more about him.

This leads me to google the teachings of Buddha and yes.... Please read on.

The First Noble Truth is "THE EXISTENCE OF IMPERMANENCE"

Nothing lasts forever. When you understand this it makes it easier to not be so attached to what you're experiencing. So when you're experiencing something you think is bad, you can relax in the knowledge that nothing bad lasts forever. Similarly, when you're experiencing happiness you can also realize that nothing good lasts forever. Why would you want to do that? Because it helps you to be more aware of how you're reacting to your experiences at all times.
