Gay-themed Korean drama "No Regrets," which was picked up by Fortissimo for world sales at this fall's Pusan Intl., is off to a strong start at the Korean box office.
Despite opening on only six screens, the low-budget film sold 12,126 tickets to gross $84,000 in its first weekend.Production company Generation Blue Films claimed the film passed 10,000 admissions faster than any other low-budget, independent film from Korea.
Meanwhile, the film also picked up the top award at the Ansan Intl.
The feature debut of Leesong Hee-il, known locally for his acclaimed short works, "No Regrets" centers on the relationship between a male escort and a wealthy client.

No Brokeback Mountain s can be so beautiful as this one.
The thing I liked about this movie is the treatment of the relation between the two male leads just like any hetero lovers.
"NO REGRET AFTER WATCHING NO REGRET"
It's truly a beautiful movie. The Koreans are really leading the way in Asia to come out with a movie like this.
